Shincha Box 2026 – Refined Selection of First Flush Japanese Green Teas from Shizuoka and Yame

This year’s limited-edition assortment includes five single-origin teas from Shizuoka and Yame, personally selected by Akito during visits to tea-growing regions.

The selection showcases classic styles, handcrafted teas, and rare cultivars. Some teas are available only in this tea box.

The box also includes roasted rice (Genmai). Add it to your tea to create your own Genmaicha or enjoy it with yogurt or ice cream.

The set also includes one sheet of traditional Japanese washi paper shown in the photos, hand-written by Akito’s mother, calligrapher Shinan. Each sheet features a Zen phrase related to tea.

Each box contains approximately 260 g (9 oz) of tea and 70 g (2.5 oz) of Genmai.
